We invite you to come worship with us. Our worship services include traditional as well as contemporary liturgy and music. We also have several bible study groups throughout the week and on Sundays. Peace Lutheran is affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

The mission of our church is to expand the family of God through the sharing of the peace of Christ with each other, with our community, and with the world, empowered by the Holy Spirit to build meaningful ministries in each stage of life through worship, service, and the preaching and teaching of the word of God. The Announcements section of our website provides quick links to highlighted current events and our Ministry page describes some of the ways we are sharing the peace of Christ with others.

Statement of Faith

Being “Lutheran,” our congregation accepts the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther which can be summarized in three short phrases:  Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone.

Grace Alone:  “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”  Ephesians 2:8,9

Faith Alone:  “You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”  Galatians 3:26,27

Scripture Alone:  “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”  John 5:24

———————————————————————————————————-

We teach and respond to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and co-eternal, on God.

God loves the people of the world and sent Jesus, His Son, to save the ungodly and by His suffering and death he purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him. The Bible is God’s inerrant Word in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus.
