Our Hikers Church is held during the months of May through October on the 4th Saturday of the month, weather permitting. Join us for adventure and fellowship as we explore some beautiful trails in the Flagstaff area. Hikes include time for devotion and praise music. Hikes begin at 8:00 am at the designated trailhead and usually end around noon. Please wear appropriate shoes and don’t forget your water, hat, and sunscreen. The September 23rd Hiker’s Church will be at Aspen Nature Trail. This 2.5 mile hike begins at the Humphreys Trail and goes west, with approximately 300 feet of elevation change. The trail winds through a variety of habitats including aspen, spruce, and pines as well as wildflowers, grasses, ferns, and meadows. Views include slopes of the San Francisco Peaks, volcanic fields to the west, and the Grand Canyon to the north. The hike also provides opportunity for wildlife viewing, bird watching, and amazing photos.
