Dr. Rev. Walter Steele and his wife Robyn recently visited our church and shared about their life as Lutheran missionaries and teachers in east Africa. They shared stories about the challenges they face as well as the many blessings they experience in sharing God’s love and word with people in Africa. The Steele’s Mission is funded entirely by donations. During their visit, offerings of $1,145 were collected to help support their continued outreach. In addition to the special offering collected, many expressed a desire to continue supporting the Steeles. If you are able and interested in giving further financial support to the Steeles, there is a donation box at the church for these special gifts. If you are donating by check or electronically, please note Steele Mission in the memo line. Our goal is to send them $100 per month. Prayers are also an important way we can support the Steele’s continued efforts to spread the Word of God. Thanks to everyone for their continued support and prayers for the Steeles and all others who have been called to serve as missionaries, pastors, and teachers in the US and throughout the world! Thanks be to God!

(We regularly receive requests for prayers and special needs supporting Lutheran missionaries, pastors, students, and teachers. Please contact our church office to learn about ways you can support them)
